About WCHF

Established in 2019, the White Coats Health Foundation (WCHF) takes a pulse on physician wellbeing and what is needed to break down stigma and take systemwide action to improve the healthcare system in Iran. Physicians continue to face mounting challenges that exacerbate their burnout, including stigma and structural barriers. The WCHF seeks to improve the health of all, especially healthcare professionals. We are committed to informing health care policy and practice, spreading effective programs that work to improve the health system and make it more equitable, and providing technical assistance to our colleagues and partners. The WCHF activities includes but not limited to:

• Empowering physicians and other heathcare professionals to lead in the delivery of high-quality, cost effective health care
• Increasing the willingness and broad and stable cooperation with health-related organizations to the medical community
• Awareness of doctors and study and consultation in the field of physical and mental health of the medical community
• Consulting in the field of authorized marketing (non-pyramid and non-network)
• Providing advise on products according to the latest achievements in the field of medical technology
• Consultation and assistance and participation in the development and facilitation of the use of existing facilities such as sports and services for the benefit of the medical community
• Facilitating health care professionals communications with support and experts
• Conclusion of contracts with natural and legal persons, obtaining and granting representation
• Participation in domestic and foreign exhibitions
• Establishment of branches throughout the country
• Participation in tenders and auctions
• Helping medical professionals in obtaining facilities from financial and credit institutions, if necessary, after obtaining permission from the competent authorities.
